Remembering Victoria Baker
In 2011, we received an email from a 13-year-old looking to book a family session. She had searched Google for “League City Photographer” and found us. I remember thinking how unusual it was for a young person to send us an inquiry. She was extremely professional and knew exactly what she wanted. This was the first time I ever heard from Victoria Baker.
She booked a session with us, and it was the first of many sessions we had with her family.
We got to witness Victoria grow from a teenager into a young adult. She was wise for her age, and always had a beautiful smile and a kind word to share.
A few days ago we received the tragic news. There was an accident and Victoria died.
I cannot express the heartache we felt upon hearing this news. I forget how cruel this world can be. It feels unfair, if I'm being honest. Our hearts go out to her mom, dad, and brother, as well as her extended family who I know all loved Victoria very much.
I’m so sorry Victoria. You were a bright light in this world. We were blessed to have known you.
